Đề bài “Describe a large company that you are interested in” yêu cầu thí sinh miêu tả một công ty, tập đoàn lớn mà mình đặc biệt hứng thú:
Đề bài Describe a large company that you are interested in khá dễ hình dung, vì các bạn có thể chọn bất kỳ công ty nào nổi tiếng, được nhiều người biết đến, kể cả trong nước hay ngoài nước. Hơn nữa, bạn có thể chọn những công ty đang hoạt động trong lĩnh vực mà bạn thích, ví dụ như các bạn gái thì có thể chọn các công ty mỹ phẩm, các bạn trai thì chọn các công ty về xe hơi, game,…
Vậy nên, đối với câu hỏi đầu tiên “Đó là công ty/ tập đoàn nào?” thì chúng ta nên nói trực tiếp đó là công ty nào và hoạt động trong lĩnh vực gì.
Tiếp đó, câu hỏi “Bạn biết đến công ty/ tập đoàn đó như thế nào?” là câu mà bạn có thể kéo dài hơn các câu hỏi khác. Đối với các bạn học ngành kinh tế, các bạn có thể nói rằng bạn hay chọn công ty đó để làm một bài nghiên cứu; hoặc đơn giản hơn là các bạn có thể nói rằng các bạn biết đến công ty đó qua người Founder/CEO.
Đối với câu hỏi cuối cùng về việc “Bạn cảm nghĩ thế nào về công ty đó?” thì các bạn có thể nói đơn giản về việc mình thích sản phẩm của công ty đó ra sao, mình ngưỡng mộ CEO của công ty đó thế nào.

Among all well-acclaimed companies around the world, there is one that I am particularly interested in, which is Tesla. It goes without saying that the company’s products are not too ubiquitous in my country, but I must say I have always dreamt of owning one.
As a student majoring in Business, I used to do extensive research on multiple organizations as this is one of the compulsory tasks that I have to do. And I have to admit, I have always chosen Tesla due to its impeccable quality and smart marketing strategy.
Tesla is basically a large corporation based in the US, which primarily manufactures high-end electric cars. As the name suggests, the company aims to produce vehicles that run on electricity, which is 100% environmentally-friendly. This is one of the main reasons why I am so fascinated by the company itself because I am extremely environmentally-conscious, I must say.
It might sound strange for a girl like me to choose a company which produces cars, not to mention its great scarcity in the Vietnam’s market. However, I suppose I became interested in the company through its CEO – the world’s richest man alive. I just simply admire his vision, commitment and guts to have founded such a large corporation like Tesla. He is an absolute perfectionist, in my opinion. He is extremely strong-willed and thick-skinned, as I once heard that he can easily fire the staff who do not come up to his expectations.
Overall, I love and admire Tesla and its CEO; and I strongly believe that the company will continue to thrive in the future.

So basically it’s a company which develops and publishes many video games, with the most notable one being a series called The Witcher. It’s the biggest game developer in Poland, and perhaps one of the most well-known and reputable game developers at the moment, not only in Europe but also around the world.
I knew about CD Projekt Red when I was watching The Game Awards 2015 ceremony, which is like an Oscar for video games. In this event, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – the final part of the legendary Witcher trilogy - accomplished a brilliant achievement after winning a total of three major categories, which had happened only twice in the history of the award. And what struck me most profoundly was the acceptance speech delivered by the company’s co-founder. The speech was short, but very powerful. And from that moment, I knew there was something very special about this game developer. I became their fan not too long after that, and I’ve never regretted it.
I admire CDPR mostly because of their genuine passion for video games, the insane amount of effort they put in their brainchild, and the fact that they really respect their fanbase. From my observation, the problem for most well-known developers nowadays is that rather than making a short game that is consistently good, they would make a long, fancy looking game which only draws the players’ attention for the first few hours, and feel like a long, boring checklist rather than something we’re interested to do. These games might look impressive due to their ultra realistic graphics or an insane amount of content, but they sorely lack a solid foundation regarding story and gameplay – which are, for me, the two most fundamental elements. CDPR, on the other hand, always focuses on these core values. That’s why their games always feel more like an interactive cinematic experience where the player’s totally immersed in a different world, and it’s almost impossible to stop playing once the story starts to pick up

Just like most of my friends, I long to work for a large corporation. I think the main reason for its popularity is its glamor and reputation. I guess there is a common belief that working in a big company would enable people to expand their networking, get some career development opportunities or learn from the best, you name it.
I must say that Vietnam has for itself an array of large companies, so I guess it might take days to name all of them. However, I assume that among all, Vingroup shines above the rest. Vingroup is one of the biggest multi-industry corporations here, as it majors in multiple fields, from retailing, tourism to education. You might easily see a random supermarket named Vinmart on the streets, as Vingroup’s branches are ubiquitous in my country.
As the name suggests, the size of these two companies is basically different from each other. The way I see it, large corporations tend to provide employees with a more professional working environment, greater financial stability and job security. Small ones, on the other hand, have a more limited budget, which hampers them from investing heavily on staff training or prohibitively expensive marketing campaigns.
One of the biggest advantages of large companies compared to its small counterparts is the ability to offer customers good services at an affordable price, which is a much greater choice for a cost-conscious customer base in Vietnam. Plus, thanks to the size and reputation of these companies, customers can generally stay worry-free when buying from them since their brand can be considered as a guarantee of top quality.
