Recently, I just finished reading the series “The Three Body Problem” by the author Liu Cixin. It was an incredible series of books, three in total, which are almost certainly the best books that I have ever read.
Content
The books are all quite long, so I had put off starting them as I was very busy, but during the last stages of lock down I knew that it was my opportunity to finally read those books. The story is about humans learning about other intelligent life in the cosmos and the dangers associated with that knowledge. It touched on many topics that I had never considered and did so in a way that was very intriguing. It is the only book I have ever had to take pauses from reading to regain my breath. I have always enjoyed reading science fiction and in my early teenage years I read most of the classic famous sci-fi books. I had read in many places and from people that I respected that this new series of books could easily stand beside any of the historical greats, so I had been looking forward to it for a long time.
Conclusion
It was also my first time reading a novel written by a Chinese author, and his methods of storytelling were very impressive.

Technology has been helping us tell stories since we started waving sticks around to illustrate points, and casting shadows of fire and using shadows to help tell the story. This has continued on as we have developed as a species and now the use of technology is almost inseparable from storytelling itself. Be that the printing press, the use of film, or digital media, technology has always been included in assisting our story telling for as long as we have had technologies.
Unemployment and inner city decay are inseparable issues which must be tackled together.
The celebration will include dance, song, and storytelling.
Personally, I prefer e-books. I can totally understand why so many people are still so strongly attached to paper books, the smell, the sound of turning pages, these are all forms of nostalgia we built up from living through a childhood filled with paper books. The reality is though, they are hugely inefficient. They are heavy, they must be made from cut down trees, they cannot be sent digitally, and the list goes on.
Some people feel nostalgia for their schooldays.
Existing methods of production are expensive and inefficient.
Really, any book could be made to work as a movie if the right circumstances are present. I think that any director with a team of motivated actors would have the ability to make any kind of novel a good movie, romance, action, mystery, all of these genres exist in both mediums. There is no reason why it should ever be impossible to make a good translation from book to film, though it can be hard. This is evidenced by so many film adaptations not being good.
