1. What will you do if you find something lost by others?
I would definitely hand it to its rightful owner, of course. However, sometimes, we cannot identify the property’s owner at first hand, so the most optimal way is to ask someone who can help such as police or bring it to the lost and found department.
- Rightful owner (n): chủ sở hữu hợp pháp
- At first hand (phrase): một cách trực tiếp
2. Do you report to the police when finding something lost by others? why?
As i have mentioned earlier, the police are definitely who I contact if I come across lost items. Additionally, most people tend to come to police precincts to ask for their missing belongings.
- As I have mentioned earlier (phrase): như tôi đã đề cập trước đó

3. Have you ever lost things?
Yeah, quite a few times. A while back I lost my very first thing that I had purchased with my own savings – a pair of Airpods 2 which , at that time, cost me a fortune. I accidentally dropped them while taking out my wallet in a grocery store. When I came back, they vanished without a trace.
- Cost someone a fortune (idiom): mắc cắt cổ
- Vanish (v) : biến mất
Hãy kể lại một kỉ niệm ngắn về việc bạn vô tình làm mất một thứ rất giá trị để trả lời câu hỏi nhé.
4. Will you post on social media if you lose your items?
Well, tons of belongings can be returned to their possessors once they have been reportedly lost on social media. So, I think this can be considered a feasible way to take back what we have lost in the Information Age.

Well, I have to admit that I have a memory like a sieve. I have lost too many personal things due to my absent-mindedness and carelessness. Now, I will tell you about a very first present from my girlfriend that I lost couple of years ago
That was a leather bifold wallet which my girlfriend gifted me on my 25th birthday. Realizing my wallet was getting worn out, she decided to hand me the replacement. The new wallet offered more compartments compared to the old one so that it could contain more bills and cards, which really came in handy. To be honest, I was really on cloud nine when receiving such a gift as I could feel how deep her love was.
After a memorable birthday, I tossed my old wallet and started using my girlfriend’s gift. I was so excited to show it to many of my friends and I always carried it along. Moreover, I also put many photographs I took with her inside, which could make me feel :” she is always beside me”.
There was a time when took out my wallet to pay a bottle of water and unintentionally left it on the basketball court after finishing my training session. On the way to the parking area, I was chattering with my teammates and didn’t notice that my wallet had been left behind. When I realized that I had lost such a precious thing, I went all the way to the court and rigorously searched for it. Unfortunately, it was no longer there as someone had taken it away, which, honestly, made me down in the dumps. You know, this wallet was really meaningful to me since I didn’t really want to take anything my girlfriend had done to me for granted.

In fact, we are sometimes preoccupied with several concerns at once. This may result in forgetting valuable things such as our phone or jewelry. This means that every single item is determined to stay in only one position, which can help us find them much more easily.

Honestly, I am more inclined to return it as soon as possible. I tend to put myself in others’ shoes to understand how frustrating it is when losing something that is of great value. Hence, If I ran into something that is not mine, I would find ways to contact its owner or send it to the nearest police station where things are kept securely.
