1. To ensure that all Rules and Regulations regarding safety at sea are complied with at all times.

2. To assist the Boat Captain as directed – at sea, mooring or anchorage.

3. To keep lookout for reefs and boats as directed by the Boat Captain.

4. To clean and maintain the hotel’s boats in accordance with departmental standards and manufacturer’s instructions.

5. To ensure that all work areas are kept clean and tidy, and that boat tools and equipment are handled and used according to departmental procedure and manufacturer’s instructions.

6. To maintain all the boat’s ropes as directed by the Boat Captain.

7. To collect supplies of fuel and load onboard the boat in accordance with departmental procedures.

8. To assist guests on and off the boat in a professional and courteous manner.

9. To address guests by name in accordance with the hotel’s Guest Recognition Program.

10. To load and unload guest luggage and supplies from the boat as directed.

11. To ensure the boat’s fridge (if applicable) has supplies of fresh drinking water at all times.

12. To ensure that clean, fresh cold towels are available from the boat’s fridge (if applicable).

13. To report all work performed and any abnormal incidents to the Senior Boat Mechanic.

14. To assist in all general works of the Transportation Department as required.

15. To ensure that all department reports and correspondence are completed accurately and punctually, if required.

2. 22 standard working days per month.

3. Pre-opening allowance from 2 million Vietnam Dong to 4 million Vietnam Dong per month.

4. Pre-opening Service Charge bonus 1 million Vietnam Dong per month.
