For our design team in Ho Chi Minh City, we're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. This is a great opportunity to work with an international team and to collaborate with a well-known semiconductor company. The successful candidate will receive training in California, USA.

JOB DESCRIPTION/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Electrical Design Engineer will be a member of interdisciplinary teams to bring designs from the concept stage all the way to production. The design engineer will be involved in all phases of mixed signal printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) design, from specification development, through schematic capture, to testing prototype hardware and releasing designs to production.
Responsibilities
· Understand and define project specifications and performance requirements at the board and system level.
· Provide conceptual and detailed designs including schematic capture using OrCAD – with focus on micro-controller based board designs
· Perform electrical circuit simulations using tools like PSpice and/or LTSpice
· Conduct board layout reviews (Allegro Board viewer) and/Or using tools like GerbView, GerbMagic etc.
· Responsible for technical project planning including project timelines, achievements, budget estimate and design reviews
· Complete design projects from concept to production release.
· Failure analysis and troubleshooting for medium complex mixed signal PCBs
· Come up with test plans for board bring up, Sanity checks, DVT
· Be creative in developing in house solutions for bench level test fixtures to test various circuits of the board in isolation and integrated
· Write technical documentation that meets the defined quality standards for manufacturing/ service team as required.
· Convey project status and updates to cross functional teams with a variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
