Position Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you are expected to have about 3+ years of experience in the Software Development across the full stack such as UI, API, Middleware, Databases, and Integrations. You will be part of the Product Team, working closely with Principal Software Engineers/Senior Software Engineers and Software Engineers on Implementing the technical design/requirements provided by the business.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Design and build product deliverables according to requirements, escalates technical design or requirement issues to Principal Software Engineers, Product Managers and Business Analysts and works within a given time frame to complete.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Follow FastTrack's development practices and software development life cycle methodologies.
• Investigation and suggestion of solutions to defects and problems that may have been detected during testing including troubleshoot, debug and upgrade to existing systems.
• Assist in the research, implementation, and promotion of appropriate leading-edge technology for FastTrack360.
• Management of/contribution towards effective source control, ensuring isolation and ability to manage multiple branches.
• Actively promote quality focused approach within the team showing ownership for QA activities and collaboration with the QA team.
• Support the teams sprint deliverables, through proactive contribution to planning, ownership of tasks, identification of dependencies and basic risk management.
• Assist in improving training and development of the technical team.

Core technical competency in:

• Angular / AngularJS
• .NET Framework / Core
• Web API / WCF (Nice to have)
• C#, VB.NET, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Microsoft SQL Server including Database schema creation/changes, complex query development and query optimisation.
• Git (Bitbucket / GitHub)
• JIRA (Project / Confluence)

Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience as a Full Stack Developer involving Angular, AngularJS, .NET Web API, and SQL Server.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL Server Databases, Stored Procedures, Database Design and Query Tuning.
• Experience working within an Agile and/or Lean team delivery environment.
• Experience working within the Atlassian suite of technology tools.
