Our client is a leading bank in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:

Assist in developing and implementing the bank’s risk management framework and policies.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and report on the bank’s risk exposure and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the bank’s risk management practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies and manage audits and examinations related to risk management.
Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Analyze risk data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
Develop and maintain risk indicators and metrics to monitor the bank’s risk profile.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of risk management systems and tools.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of risk management data and systems.
Lead and mentor the risk management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective risk management practices are integrated across the organization.
Develop and implement crisis management plans to respond to potential risk events.
Lead the response to risk incidents, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulators, to communicate risk management strategies and findings.
Promote risk awareness and training programs across the bank to enhance risk management capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) is preferred.
7y+ experience in risk management within the banking or financial services industry, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of risk management principles, practices, and regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
