About The Team
The Product Development team in Vietnam focus on solving immediate needs of Shopee for Vietnam market in 3 main categories: Operation, Engagement, and Partnership.
Our scope consists of products in various sizes and complexity levels, serving both internal users (Shopee staffs) as well as external users (our buyers, sellers, brands and partners).
As a member in the team, you'll be part of an Agile team targeting at a specific category to develop impactful tools / features to accelerate business goals in that area.

The Product Development team in Vietnam focus on solving immediate needs of Shopee for Vietnam market in 3 main categories: Operation, Engagement, and Partnership.
Our scope consists of products in various sizes and complexity levels, serving both internal users (Shopee staffs) as well as external users (our buyers, sellers, brands and partners).
As a member in the team, you'll be part of an Agile team targeting at a specific category to develop impactful tools / features to accelerate business goals in that area.
Job Description
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems
- Analyze requirements, design and develop functionalities based on the product requirements;
- Understand the product thoroughly, constantly optimize the product, identify and fix problems, improve stability and user experience;
- Collaborate with other software engineers, product managers, user experience designers, and operations engineers to build the product.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best software development practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Work with database technologies to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for backend-related issues.
- Optimize and improve existing backend systems for better performance.
- Implement and maintain APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
- Relevant experience in backend / server-side development.
- Familiar with commonly used languages, such as Golang / Python.
- Familiar with one of these stacks: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems.
- Experience in managing tasks, schedules, and conducting unit testing.
- Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases…
- Familiar with common network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP) and network programming.
- Experience in web technologies and security.
- Experience with distributed systems, performance tuning, handling massive concurrency, and caching mechanisms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitlabCI, or Github actions
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD for containerization and deployment.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of how machine learning models can be integrated into backend systems.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.

Các dịch vụ kinh doanh được cấp phép của JBSV tại Việt Nam bao gồm: (i) Bảo lãnh phát hành, (ii) Tư vấn Đầu tư, (iii) Môi giới Chứng khoán, và (iv) Tự doanh. JBSV cũng sẽ mở rộng sang các dịch vụ Môi giới bao gồm Môi giới chứng khoán, Cho vay ký quỹ cũng như kinh doanh Quản lý tài sản dành cho khách hàng Cá nhân và Tổ chức trong giai đoạn phát triển tiếp theo, nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu tài chính toàn diện của khách hàng.
Với tổng tài sản đạt 49 tỷ USD, Tập đoàn tài chính JB sở hữu mạng lưới liên kết trong nước mạnh mẽ với bốn công ty con, bao gồm hai ngân hàng thương mại, một công ty tài chính tiêu dùng và một công ty quản lý tài sản.

- Ngày 25/08/2020, đổi tên thành Công ty TNHH Chứng khoán JB Việt Nam.
