Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

• Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and refine testing requirements.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using various testing frameworks and programming languages.
• Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies, ensuring timely resolution.
• Apply quality engineering principles and best practices throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
• Provide support and documentation for testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing tools and techniques.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor’s or College degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of experience in automation testing, with a familiarity with both front-end and back-end system testing.
• Proven experience in building automation testing frameworks from scratch.
• Good understanding of testing concepts and coding experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience in Web Services/API automated testing, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS DevOps pipelines to set up automated builds and enable CI/CD is a plus.
