Job Purpose:
The NPI (New Product Introduction) Sourcing Manager role will be to source and procure electrical, mechanical components, and assemblies from our global partners to support new projects. The NPI Sourcing Buyer will support manufacturing and R&D departments as well as work closely with commodity category managers to drive projects forward while balancing cost and efficiency factors. The individual must be a self starter and will be driven to meet all timeline and cost structure requirements. Doing the above them and their team will be an integral part of the job.
Job Duties:
1. Review RFQ documents to ensure validity and completeness before sending RFQ to suppliers
2. Submitting RFQs across all commodity categories and summarizing the results for review with management.
3. Ability to review costs and provide at-a-glance assertions about costing accuracy.
4. Maintain organization of information while managing multiple inquiries simultaneously
5. Planning material requirements, managing material delivery schedules, communicating effectively with suppliers to deliver material on-time.
6. Supporting supplier performance by providing the correct information and requesting any additional information from the cross-functional project team.
7. Working with material planning team to communicate supply chain risks and mitigation strategies.
8. Actively look for areas of process improvement, cost savings, and production efficiency practices.
9. Ability to handle barriers to execute deliverables effectively for them and their team, while raising large issues to top management
10. Manage a small-medium sized team to success given the above parameters..Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Requirement/Experience:
Bachelors Degree - Preference: Business, Engineering, or related field.
Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English. Ability to speak Chinese preferred.
6+ years sourcing experience in Mechanical or Electronics sourcing.
Knowledge Required

Commodity Experience
Financial Acumen Related to Manufacturing
English Language (it's the common language used at FRIWO)
Skill Requirements
Expertise in manufacturing processes of multiple commodity categories through on-the-job training.
Experience managing a small-medium sized team
Ability to hire and train new staff to meet company standards
Experience in creating executive level presentations for top management
Strong Skillset in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
