Fujikura Fiber Optics Vietnam Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as FOV) is invested 100% Japanese Fujikura Group, started the operation in April 2001. We are specialized in manufacturing fiber optics components and Medical devices; and are hiring Purchasing Staff to join our team due to new business plan. You will have many opportunities to work and learn in a creative and professional environment and will be responsible for the below categories:

Key responsibilities for PURCHASING STAFF:

1 To be the window to connect to suppliers.

2 Purchasing materials/tool/service/equipment and control PO

• Collect quotations and get the approval for the best price
• Get purchasing demand from forecast, product PO, purchase request (PR)
• Issue material PO based on product PO, forecast, and PR then negotiates and follow up the schedule until FOV receive.
• Prepare related document to send Log, Acc on time to receipt cargo in system and make payment

3 Control status of materials/item under PR

• Confirm item status to planners, requesters.
• Inform any changes of item's schedule to planners, requesters.
• Follow material defect ratio to order.
• Follow up supplier delivery ratio, any delay must be settled immediately.
• Follow up to return the borrowing item/call back the item that is sent to outside on time

4 Control Inventory

• Control inventory in minimum level.
• Follow up non-conforming/slow-moving materials, contact to sections involve and Supplier/customer for return/compensation

5 Other tasks

• Make Agreement, Debit note, Credit note concerning to Purchasing issue
• Send forecast to supplier
• Calculate material cost
• Create new material codes in system
• Evaluate supplier together with other sections following company schedule

*** Requirement for PURCHASING STAFF:

1. University graduation in Industrial Management, Foreign trade, Business Administration, Accounting
2. At least 1 years working at same level.
3. Good at English communication (both speaking & writing), TOEIC 500 or equivalent level
4. Could use Mircrosoft office: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Outlook
