As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Gearment, you will be responsible for making sure that everything is monitorable, recoverable, alertable, and more. The primary objective will be to lead the DO team in building the scalability of our system and setting up the infrastructure architecture that has been designed and approved by the Technical Leaders and Management.

In addition, you will be accountable for maintaining infrastructure cost efficiency within a limited budget while also ensuring that the system remains highly available and scalable. You will also take the lead in automating the processes for the engineering teams to develop new features, automating the CI and CD for the team, and ensuring that the engineering team can focus on development.

• Migrate all fragmented infrastructure from multiple clouds to the AWS centralized cloud.
• Manage and monitor infrastructure costs within the company's budget, ensuring that they remain under 1% of revenue.
• Set up the infrastructure together with the technical leader to ensure high stability and scalability.
• Build up the logging and monitoring system for our infrastructure and applications to support developers and management.
• Build up the CICD for all current GM projects
• Development tool set up to improve the Engineers' productivity
• Deliver excellent SLA and SLO for the DevOps team

Yêu cầu công việc

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
• At least 4–5 years experience in the same position DevOps
• Strong understanding of all Amazon AWS services, Digital Ocean, and GCP. A big plus is an AWS certificate.
• Containerize Orchestration: Experience in container technology and its concepts, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, and AWS EKS.
• Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining highly intensive RDBMS/NoSQL databases and search engines (e.g. Postgres, Elasticsearch, etc.).
• Well-working experience with source control and its related concepts (Git, Gitflow, branches, tags, etc.)
• Extensive experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes using self-managed tools or relevant cloud technologies (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• Have knowledge and work experience with one of the following monitor systems: Terraform, InfluxDB, Grafana, AWS Cloudwatch, or Prometheus
• Logging systems such as Elastic Stack (ELK/EFK) and Graylog.
• Error exception tracking and APM tracing, such as Sentry, NewRelic APM, Datadog APM, and Elasticsearch APM, is a big plus
• Strong DevOps mindset and excellent team player (Calm, Cooperative, Problem-solving focused, no Ego, Trust, and Respect)
• The ability to work both independently and in groups.
• Take responsibility for your work. Ability to multitask and work under duress.
