THE ROLE

We are seeking a Merchandising & Operations Executive to join our team at August Berg. This role focuses on assisting in merchandising, supply chain management, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) management, order fulfillment, key account management (KAM) support, and customer service. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

Merchandising and Supply Chain:

• Assisting in managing the supplier portfolio, including price negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.

• Assisting in sourcing new suppliers to optimize inventory and stock turnover.

• Conduct regular assortment reviews and make recommendations on inventory management.

• Plan stock levels and order inventory to maximize warehouse capacity.

• Coordinate with regional teams on order placements, shipment dispatches, and delivery schedules.

3PL Management and Order Fulfillment:

• Oversee 3PL partnerships to ensure efficient logistics and timely deliveries.

• Monitor and improve order fulfillment processes for accuracy and efficiency.

• Resolve order discrepancies, shipping delays, and customer complaints promptly.

• Continuously optimize fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations.

Key Account Management (KAM) Support and Customer Service:

• Collaborate with key accounts to understand and meet their requirements.

• Support KAM in executing merchandising strategies and order management.

• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any service issues.

• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to enhance customer experiences.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze purchasing and sales data to identify trends and forecast demand.

• Prepare regular KPI reports and provide actionable insights.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support decision-making.

• Generate ad-hoc reports as required.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and sustainable supply chain.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Merchandising Manager and Key Account Manager, to align purchasing and sales strategies.

• Liaise with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues promptly.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

•         Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

•         Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising, sales fulfillment, or a similar role.

•         Strong team player with a results-oriented and sales-driven mindset.

•         Thorough understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain operations

•         Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and key accounts.

•         Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.

•         Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.

•         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

•         Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.

•         Familiarity with industry trends, international trade regulations, and logistics processes.
