What You'll Do

  • Oversee and Strategize Product Quality: Lead the assessment of product quality, identifying critical gaps in our CI/CD pipeline, and making strategic decisions to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software.
  • Collaborate on Quality Initiatives: Work closely with the product development team to ideate and refine features, ensuring quality is embedded from the initial concept through to delivery. Develop and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts, including identify the test cases for automation, and test scenarios to cover a range of use cases and edge cases based on requirements and specifications of the features.
  • Develop and Implement Test Strategies: Define, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, including automation acceptance tests, integration testing, regression testing, and smoke tests.
  • Incident/bug management: review, reproduce the issues that are reported to the team. Collaborating with the stakeholders to get more clarification and align on the next steps if needed. Following the process for bug / incident
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with the product development team. Participate all the team's activities such as sprint planning, refinement, sprint review, retrospective, etc.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from Information Technology or Computer Science colleges and universities
  • At least 3+ years of experience in software testing
  • Good business acumen and testing definition skills
  • Ability to learn a new domain and adapt with the team quickly.
  • Deep understanding of Software Testing such as Test level (unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, etc.), Test strategy, test plan, Defect life cycle, approach for automation testing, performance testing, etc.
  • Understanding of SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • API Testing: Experience with API testing tools and techniques, such as Postman or REST Assured, can be advantageous.
  • Solid experience with any of the following automation frameworks - Selenium, Playwright, Appium
  • Skill in programming in some following: Javascript, TypeScript
  • Experiences in web application and mobile testing
  • Skillful in API testing is a plus
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
  • Critical Thinking: analyzing the issue, complex features and use case
  • Communication: good written and verbal communication in English.
