Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Legal Manager role located in Hanoi. The Legal Manager will be responsible for providing legal guidance, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and overseeing legal affairs. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and reviewing legal documents, offering legal consultations, handling legal cases, and ensuring company activities comply with regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaboration with internal departments and external legal entities to provide effective legal oversight and help the company navigate legal challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage Group Legal team and oversee legal operations across GEOs.

• Review and control contracts, compliance, licensing, and risk matters.

• Advise management on legal risks, corporate structure, and cross-border issues.

• Liaise with external law firms and handle disputes or litigation when required.

• Maintain good relationship with law firms and Stay current on changes in legislation and assess their impact on the company as well as propose actions that may benefit to the business good governance

• Monitor legal and regulatory updates across countries and ensure compliance.

• Maintain corporate governance and statutory filings for all entities.

• Develop internal legal frameworks, templates, and procedures.

• Report key legal risks and updates to related personnel, Head of Business Compliance and CEO.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate legal or compliance roles, with management experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of corporate law, cross-border transactions, and compliance frameworks.

• Experience working with multinational companies or external law firms.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
