Position: Assistant Manager
Department: Maintenance
Working location: Long Binh, Dong Nai
Working time : Monday - Saturday
(19 Saturdays off per year - 2 Saturdays off per month)
Job Description
Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend lifespan.
Team Management: Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
Budgeting: Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and materials.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Oversee the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other system failures.
Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and ensure the work environment meets legal and safety standards.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external service providers for specialized repairs or services.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schedules, completed work, and equipment status.Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Education Background: In engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or similar field) or related technical disciplines.
Certifications in maintenance management or specific systems (e.g., HVAC, PLC, etc.) are often preferred.
Working Experience: 5+ years of experience in a maintenance role, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial position.
Experience in managing maintenance teams and operations in manufacturing, facilities management, or construction industries.
Computer Knowledge:
Proficiency in Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) for scheduling and tracking work orders (e.g., SAP, Maximo, or similar).
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and presentations.
Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software may be advantageous for certain industries.
Language: English (fluency often required for international or large corporations).
Additional languages may be beneficial depending on the location or industry.
Professional Skills or Certificates:
Certification in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
OSHA or other industry-specific safety certifications.
Certification in lean maintenance or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt) is a plus.
Project management certifications (PMP or similar) can be advantageous.
Management/Other Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
Project management and budget control.
Communication skills for interacting with various teams and external vendors.
Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
