We are seeking a U.S.-certified Professional Engineer (P.E.) to lead our Vietnam-based engineering team. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient design of products that meet U.S. construction standards, maintain compliance, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers in Vietnam to develop designs adhering to U.S. construction standards.
• Review and interpret construction specifications, structural/architectural plan sets, and fabrication drawings for various product offerings.
• Collaborate with the project Engineer of Record (EOR) and architects to design and attach products to mediums such as:
• Wood framing
• Steel framing
• Post-tensioned concrete
• Precast concrete
• Lead or actively participate in design coordination meetings.
• Perform structural analysis and design for products including aluminum balconies, railings, canopies, pergolas, and more.
• Prepare calculations and specifications in accordance with project requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
• Oversee and review shop drawings to ensure conformance with construction standards and calculations.
• Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and engineering practices.
• Conduct research and development (R&D) for:
• Improving existing products.
• Expanding the company’s product offerings.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with multi-family projects is a plus.
• Experience in designing aluminum structures is highly desirable.
• Possession of a P.E. or S.E. license in the United States, or the ability to obtain licensure quickly.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IBC/IRC and other relevant building codes.
• Strong computer and technical skills, including proficiency in design and analysis software.
