* Main Purpose of the Role
- We are looking for Special Cargo Operations Manager to Join our amazing growing company.
- ZIM LOGISTICS VIETNAM (ZLV) is a subsidiary for ZIM Line. ZLV performs full logistics services including Sea-freight, Airfreight, customs declaration, export and import licenses, logistics consultancy service, project cargo, cross-border trucking, warehousing and E-Commerce custom brokerage and fulfillment logistics.

- As a Special Operations Manager at ZLV, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of supporting new business, it’s implementation, end to end operation and execution. This senior role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the project cargo industry, and exceptional skills in global network development with the main focus on special cargo handling.

* Major areas of responsibility
- Responsible for the operation of all special cargo activities – special cargo is defined as OOG, break bulk, DG and reefers
- Responsible to source the right vendors to handle project / special cargo
- Make sure all shipments will be handled in line with local and international laws and according to safety standards
- Responsible for communicating with overseas offices/agents for logistics consulting; quotation; building and minimizing cost of logistics jobs.
- Formulate and optimize SOP standard operating procedures and service plans.
- Following of payment of logistics clients.
- Responsible for the daily management of the special cargo operations, training of staff if necessary
- Making sure smooth and timely operation of special cargo department.
- Good communication and cooperative relations with suppliers, good suppliers’ maintenance, and assessment; good connection with related authorities.
- Perform other tasks arranged by the leadership.
