About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Senior Accountant based in Vietnam to support accounting operations across Vietnam, Singapore, and Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality financial governance, accurate reporting, and seamless finance operations in close partnership with the APAC Head Office in Singapore.
You will oversee core accounting processes, ensure compliance with both local and group standards, and act as a key finance partner for regional stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic multinational environment, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable managing end-to-end finance operations across multiple jurisdictions.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Senior Accountant based in Vietnam to support accounting operations across Vietnam, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Key Responsibilities
Financial Governance & Reporting
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records in accordance with local statutory requirements and Zühlke’s commercial accounting framework.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements compliant with Vietnamese GAAP and Local GAAP.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring timely submission of schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving enhancements in accounting and reporting quality.
- Execute end-to-end finance processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger for APAC entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare/upload payments into banking platforms.
- Process employee expense claims and verify adherence to company policies.
- Review contracts at the request of regional teams, ensuring all financial terms comply with internal policies.
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure accurate payments and alignment with budget guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across APAC to resolve operational issues and ensure process alignment.
- Lead the standardization and documentation of finance processes to enhance service quality, consistency, and efficiency across markets.
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimize financial processes, structures, and workflows.
- Support regional and group-wide projects and perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of Finance & Controlling, APAC.
- Degree in Accounting or a recognized Professional Accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA strongly preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant experience in an international company; experience in technology or professional services industries is a plus.
- Proven experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries—especially Singapore and Hong Kong—is highly advantageous.
- Prior exposure to a shared service center or centralized finance environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical acumen with the ability to work in fast-paced, adaptive environments.
- Independent, reliable, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Confident and communicative personality with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and locations.
- Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel; strong command of English (both written and spoken).
