We are looking for a Security Engineer who is passionate about security and IT solutions. In this role, you will work as part of a purple team, balancing both offensive (red team) and defensive (blue team) responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with clients to assess their security posture, design security controls, and implement IT security solutions. This is a hands-on role that involves security assessments, cloud security management (Azure and AWS), and client support throughout the security lifecycle. 

Overview of the Position: 

You will be working on a variety of projects that span both red teaming and blue teaming activities. On the red team side, this includes for example: security assessments, web application penetration testing, network penetration testing, and cloud penetration testing. On the blue team side, you will work on projects such as detection and response, integrating client endpoints with tools like Wazuh or EDR solutions, and developing security monitoring strategies. 

This role is not just technical, it also involves planning and developing security procedures, creating documentation, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. Strong English communication skills are essential, as you will be working directly with clients and collaborating with internal teams. 

Responsibilities:  

• Design and implement detection and response solutions, including endpoint integration with tools like Wazuh or EDR platforms. 
• Perform penetration testing (web app, network, and cloud) to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. 
• Prioritize vulnerabilities and create detailed remediation plans and reports. 
• Develop and maintain security controls across client applications and IT infrastructure. 
• Implement security solutions such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls for clients. 
• Configure and troubleshoot security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems. 
• Specialize in cloud security, designing and implementing security controls in client environments (Azure, AWS). 
• Be the first point of contact for clients’ incident response, including investigation and remediation. 
• Develop and document standard operating procedures, incident response plans, and security protocols. 
• Provide ongoing support and security monitoring for client systems. 
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client proposals and pre-sales discussions.  
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to continuously improve client security solutions.  
• Conduct security assessments for clients’ infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Security, or a related field. 
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, and cloud technologies), with a focus on security fundamentals. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and knowledge of cloud security best practices. 
• Knowledge of security concepts (e.g., firewalls, encryption, access control, incident response) and experience with security tools (e.g., Wazuh, EDR solutions, penetration testing tools, WAF). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. 
• Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese, both written and verbal, for client interactions and documentation. 
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies based on client needs. 
• A passion for cybersecurity, with a desire to grow in both red team and blue team disciplines.
