Implements and supports IT servers and storage hosted in Vietnam and other manufacturing sites. Resolves server-related issues/problems and ensures high availability of IT services to the business operation. Works closely with team members and independently at times to perform intermediate server and storage functions with multiple technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with inter/intra team members around the globe to research, plan, implement and support IT solutions.

• Work with enterprise infrastructure technologies including but not limited to, MS Active Directory, MS Active Directory Group Policies, MS Exchange, MS Clusters, MS SMS, MS SQL, Avamar/Data Domain, MS SCCM and SCEP , VMware ESXi and Horizon and various monitoring tools.

• Utilize project management skills and manage day to day priorities.

• Support network and internet protocols and applications including but not limited to WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IIS, SNMP, SMTP, Interface Redundancy, SSL.

• Research, test, and implement business continuity, including Disaster recovery, patch management, security, etc.

• Evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.

• Create, modify and keep network documentation.

• Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

• Perform other assignments as required.

• Handle continuous improvement projects and IT initiates.

• Support annual plant maintenance exercise.

• Create and maintain site related server documentation.

• Support 24/7 on call duty.

Experience:

• 4-7 years experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study

Skills/Competencies:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently is required.

• 2+ years of experience and/or working knowledge of Windows and VMWare software.

• Intermediate level knowledge of server hardware (Dell, Cisco UCS and others a plus). Experience should include monitoring, installation, configuration, tuning and management.

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange required and O365 a plus.

• 2+ years of experience with Storage Area Network environment desired.

• 2+ years of experience with a 24/7 Datacenter Environment desired.

• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SCOM/SCCM Server desired.

• 2+ years of experience with VMware ESX Server desired.

• Intermediate level knowledge of enterprise level SANs (3PAR, EMC, etc).

• Intermediate knowledge of backup and storage concepts including Avamar and Data Domain a plus.

• Knowledge of storage tuning, gathering data and presenting storage statistics to support required/requested storage based performance initiatives

• Knowledge of 3PAR’s “Thin Provisioning”

• Knowledge of SAN Replication Technologies.

• Knowledge of patch management practices for a Microsoft Windows environment and 3par.

• Exposure to SOX controls, processes, etc.

• Working knowledge and prior experience a plus in ADFS and AD.

• 1 – 2 years of experience in Orchestrator, general automation and scripting.

• Working knowledge and/or prior experience in Cloud offerings (SaS, IaaS, PasS) a plus.

• Knowledgeable and experienced in ITIL practices and methodologies (ie. Incident, Problem, and Change Management).

• Good knowledge on server hardware, include monitoring, installation, configuration, tuning.

• Basic knowledge on backup and storage concepts.

• Knowledge of patch management practices for a Microsoft Windows environment.
