Region APC > Service APAC > Commercial Management Office APAC

The Service Commercial Department APAC is overall responsible for the continuous and profitable business growth in Service across Asia Pacific (APAC) by selling service solutions for Renewable Energy assets to both new and existing customers.

The different service solutions are typically relating to one of the following business areas:

  • Long-term Operations & Maintenance agreements (Maintenance Contracting)
  • Transactional sales of Parts & Repair solutions (Parts & Repair)
  • Sales of upgrades, performance improvement & end-of-life solutions (Fleet Optimization).

Target customers are all investors, owners & operators of Renewable Energy assets and especially Wind Turbine Generators (Vestas & non-Vestas) in the APAC region. The main markets of the ASP region consist of Australia & New Zealand, Korea, Japan as well as Greater Asia, including the markets of South-East Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan) as well as China, Mongolia and India

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build contract management capabilities, developing well integrated legal, commercial and contract management standards practices on contractual terms and obligations
  • Legal SME to Contract Management activities with understanding of contractual terms and clauses and its implications commercially, operationally and legally
  • Ensuring appropriate understanding of all the contractual terms entered with different customers
  • Support the contract approval process, together with regional sales obtaining required approvals and provide recommendation to improve the approval anchor process where needed
  • Providing legal commercial contractual support to internal stakeholders in the correct understanding and interpretation of contract clauses and handling of major claims
  • Facilitating continuous improvement of contract digitalization process from start to completion utilizing appropriate templates and procedures

Qualification

  • Bachelors / Masters in Law or Business Administration with relevant commercial experience or strong contract management affinity
  • 5+ years of experience in related or similar work in Energy sector or Industrial sector
  • International experience during educational or professional career valuable. Experience of customer management & stakeholder management
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to exchange complex information with clarity
  • Proficient in English, both oral & written

  • Experience in or strong understanding of contract law and contract management
  • Innovative approach, creative thinking and solution-oriented
  • Solid capabilities in project management
  • Stakeholder management & working with culturally diverse team across the region
  • Encourage to turn identified opportunities into actionable & commercialize initiatives
  • Ability to work collaboratively & task-oriented (i.e. capacity to organize tasks effectively and/or prioritize as required by business needs)
  • Collaborative worker with ability to work in a multi-cultural context as part of a global matrix organization
  • Proficient written & verbal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Word, Power Point and Excel
