About the role

As an Experienced Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for managing accounting services for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate preparation of financial records, tax compliance, and timely reporting in line with regulations. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients, gathering the necessary information, managing accounting documentation, and ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations.

In this role, you will oversee and guide junior staff, ensuring their work aligns with company standards while also playing an active role in checking and verifying financial reports. Your expertise will support the team in meeting deadlines and maintaining the high-quality service. This role provides a valuable opportunity to develop leadership skills through mentoring and training team members

Key responsibilities:

·      Coordinate with head office colleagues to provide financial outsourcing services such as bookkeeping, fund administration, and other financial tasks.

·      Ensure deliverables to the head office meet established quality and timeline standards.

·      Liaise with clients to address queries related to the services provided.

·      Oversee the work of junior staff, checking and verifying financial reports to ensure accuracy.

·      Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by managers.

Requirements:

·      Solid background of accounting; professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA is preferable.

·      1-2 years of relevant experience in the accounting.

·      Solid understanding of accounting standards.

·      Proficient in verbal and written English communication.

·      Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·      Strong interpersonal and time management skills.

·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
