Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Indoor Furniture Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative, stylish, and functional indoor furniture pieces that align with our brand identity and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with the product development, engineering, and marketing teams to bring designs from concept to final product.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design indoor furniture collections based on current trends, customer needs, and brand direction.
• Develop detailed design concepts, including sketches, 3D models, mood boards, and material selection.
• Create technical drawings/specifications for prototyping and production.
• Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Research materials, finishes, and construction techniques to ensure quality, sustainability, and innovation.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor products.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and ergonomic principles.
• Make adjustments to designs based on feedback from prototyping, testing, or customer input.• Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, or related field.
• Proven experience in indoor furniture design (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent sketching and visualization skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and functionality.
