PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Being responsible for performing and taking initiatives for all activities in supporting of environment, health and safety & security, to protect employees, company, the environment by providing a safe and healthy workplace.
• Managing contractors during working at the Plants (Safety induction, reviews contractor’s risk assessment, toolbox talks, safety patrol, supervision, …).
• Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of EHS related procedures in compliance with all requirements and regulations (Vietnam and International standards).
• Managing facility/safety processes.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT (40% | Daily/Ad-hoc):

• Manage all safety equipment at the power plant/ establish the tracking records and/or carry out periodic inspection of safety equipment as required by law.
• Provide the periodic/ Irregular reports and activity profile to the authorities.
• Establish and develop EHS Procedures for the power plant
• Lead for EHS Weekly/ Monthly Meeting with contractor
• Support the Environmental monitoring and measurement (Illumination, noise, heat, chemical hazardous and total dust) including evaluation and analysis by reference the law and/or international standard.
• Inspect daily O&M work at the plant and ensures daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections and audits are completed as necessary to comply with state and local regulations.
• Investigate, report and give solutions for all accidents and near miss case to prevent other potential case.
• Identify potentially Safety, Health and Environment cases for analysis.
• Emergency response management
• Supervisie and mornitor firefighting equipment, manage and update the firefighting documents.
• Routine check the function of the firefighting system as well as checking and refilling the portable fire-extinguishers.
• Work with related departments (Internally/Externally) about EHS.
• Risk assessment update in a regular basis.

EHS activities at site (60% | Daily/Monthly/Yearly/Ad-hoc)

• Be responsible for all aspects of plant environmental health & safety management to ensure that they comply with all requirements and regulations (Vietnam and International standards)
• Continually improve, evaluate, implement and maintain health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to protect employees and comply with company, state, federal and local regulations.
• Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards
• Update all related work procedure and related regulation to comply with the EHS regulation
• Perform all duties that will ensure utilities, document, office equipment, and contacting with governmental agencies for environmental health and safety issues.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditor about EH&S and security routine
• Cooridante with HR to arrange the training for both of staff and related contractor in terms of the Environmental, Health & Safety
• Prepare weekly/ monthly/ quarterly EHS performance report.
• Other tasks assigned by Line manager

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A college degree is required, preferred Electrical or Engineering background
• Deep knowledge of Environment – Health – Safety (EHS) Management 
• At least 03 years of working experience with the same role.
• Experience in Power/Gas/Petro/Industrial plant, especially in Power Plant would be advantage

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Solid knowledge in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Safety Management system, Waste & Risk management 
• Strong foundation in legalisation, procedures and policy, especially in EHS Law
• Understanding of ISO 9001 & 140001 and ISO 45001 and other international standards.

SKILL/ABILITY REQUIRED:

• Proficiency in MOS (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant systems
• Excellent at communication and interpersonal skill
• Good time management
• EPC/ Contractor/Sub-contractor/ Vendor Management
• Risk management.
• Be able to independent working and teamwork with high sense of flexibility under high pressure
• Time management
• Detail-oriented

• Age: prefer from 28 – 35
