Job Description 
Homebase is looking for a talented candidate to join the team as a Software Engineer Intern. The candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with core members of our high-performing team and will have the following responsibilities:
Collaborate with Backend Engineer to assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust and scalable infrastructure;
Assist in the engineering tasks, including ingestion, transformation, and integration;
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources into our data warehouses and systems;
Develop and maintain data scraping scripts/tools for gathering information from online sources;
Optimize database performance by monitoring, making necessary changes, and applying updates;
Implement data security and privacy best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection regulations;
Build high-quality, highly available database systems tailored to end users' roles;
Implement high-speed transaction recovery techniques and data backup;
Identify opportunities for user acquisition and engagement.
Our Requirements
We are looking for candidates who fulfill the following criteria:
Based in Ho Chi Minh City;
Majoring in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields in a top tier university;
Be able to commit at least 6 months; 
Experienced in Python; 
Familiarity with database systems and data modeling is a plus;
Prior internship experience in Engineering is a plus;
Strong passion for growth hacking, infrastructure and data scraping;
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment;
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup culture.
