This position will work in a collaborative way with several other cross-functional subject area such as Legal and Compliance, Tax, Sales, Revenue, IT, and other functional and logistics teams (process owners) to bring process management skill and field to the company, and coordinate efforts across the business. This position will report into the Director of WWOPS Logistics.
Experience And Qualifications
- Should possess at least 10 years demonstrated in dynamically more responsible leadership positions in areas of Logistics operations, Logistics Program management, Supply Planning & Trade Compliance.
- Should display an in depth knowledge of both Logistics operations, strategy, inventory planning and Asoa Trade Compliance processes including but not limited to understanding Monitor and Deliver Order Shipments across a Regional footprint.
- Reconcile and Manage Returns/Stock Rotation, Merge in Transit, Perform Compliance Checks, Generate Trade Documents and SOX compliance revenue recognition practices
- Understand the capabilities of Global / Regional Freight Forwarding Providers as well as Fulfillment Hub Providers. Knowledge in areas of logistics planning/analytics would be advantageous.
- Experience handling key projects that are cross-functional
- Successful candidate should possess a consistent record to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and objectively present pros and cons of alternatives. Be capable to assess and provide guidance on reducing risks of various alternatives.
- Extensive knowledge of process management tools, Six Sigma, metrics, and performance measurement techniques. The ideal candidate knows how to employ these tools and processes effectively incorporating metrics by which progress against plan can be measured.
- Demonstrated successful experience in assessing process requirements, process development and implementation, and process maintenance.
- Must be able to think strategically and plan effectively; yet possess a detail-oriented, hands-on approach. Must be results-oriented and ability to operate with a high sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated ability of establishing large distribution / fulfillment centers
- Reasonable amount of travel related to work responsibility is required.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Knowledge of CM business in Asia
- Provide managerial oversight for a large DC and cross dock, as operating by Juniper’s crafted 3PL. Prepare, lead, and supervise labor, capacity and DC/cross dock efficiency.
- Work closely with various internal business/process owners, within logistics as well as with Sales, Order Management, Revenue, Planning, Tax and Compliance etc. Develop and implement a plan (roadmap) to achieve objectives for each of these processes.
- Align with and leverage third party system integration partners and consultants to plan and implement agreed programs
- Lead project timelines. Be able to prioritize, make business trade-offs, and sequence initiatives necessary to achieve long term process goals. Ensure the integration of initiatives is completely consistent with the company's and WWOPS functional strategic goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with functional organizations to resolve key linkage between cross-functional processes. Proactively supervise and handle their linkage.
- Build by collaboration with the process owners, business case documents supporting project initiatives including business cases, return on investments, project functional scopes and specifications.
- Proactively and continuously identify business areas where improvements can be made to streamline workflow and application flow resulting in measurable savings of time, effort and costs.
- Constantly supervises industry for standard methodologies in the Logistics and Trade Compliance functional business areas to leverage in business processes, driving improvements in workflow and applications.
Maximum Salary:$148,764.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $103,488.00 and $148,764.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
