***Job overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient operation and continuous monitoring of our health and safety management system. The Corporate Health & Safety Coordinator will collaborate with various stakeholders, including schools, offices, Health & Safety representatives, and safety consultants, to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Training will be provided to support the successful execution of responsibilities.

***Responsibilities and Duties:
• Liaise with schools, offices, Health & Safety representatives, and safety consultants to effectively communicate and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Oversee the implementation of safety and health programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Provide support in the implementation of training programs identified by Heads of departments, ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for safe work practices.
• Monitor monthly safety performance reporting systems, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement to enhance safety measures.
• Review and monitor audit and inspection outcomes, analyse accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
• Actively promote all health and safety issues throughout the organization, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
• Conduct yearly audits of all company facilities to assess compliance with safety standards and identify potential hazards or risks.
• Stay informed about changes in Health and Safety Legislation, review their implications, and ensure compliance within the organization.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of all schools and offices to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, including teachers, administrators, and support staff, to enhance their understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and safety concerns within all schools and offices, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with external agencies, such as local health departments or regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in inspections or audits as required.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external resources, such as safety consultants or organizations specializing in educational safety, to access expertise and stay updated on industry best practices.
• Monitor and analyse health and safety data, such as incident reports or near-miss incidents, to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for further training or interventions.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to health and safety in educational settings, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to stakeholders.
