Curriculum Development and Implementation
• Responsible for all compliance matters of the programme under the MOET, local DOET regulations and KinderWorld’s orientation.
• Ensure relevant school curriculum and learning materials are documented and available electronically to all schools.
• Ensure effective, rigorous and consistent assessment processes are in place to meet DOET and OOET requirements and provide recommendations for decision- making and improvement of schools.
• Support the schools on curriculum matters to ensure consistent and standard curriculum is implemented and resourced across KinderWorld schools and teaching practices are effective in the Vietnamese and Collaboration Program.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the Vietnamese curriculum and its teaching practices to support the ongoing development and implementation of education programmes for Vietnamese students.
• Assist in developing and implementing the Quality Schools Framework and school policies relevant to the International programme in all KinderWorld schools.
• Facilitate the launch of other curriculum innovation initiatives within the KinderWorld Group and ensure the highest quality in delivering those initiatives.
• Assist in designing a complete and comprehensive curriculum framework, such as curriculum mapping, semester plan, yearly theme, etc, to support the delivery of an integrated education programme.
Academic Operations
• Ensure the delivery of the Vietnamese and Collaboration curriculum in all KinderWorld schools in Vietnam complies with the regulations of MOET and local DOETs and is in line with the Company’s purpose of pursuing a high- quality education for students.
• Conduct comprehensive regular inspections of the schools to review academic performance and academic standards and make recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct teacher training to strengthen the Vietnamese curriculum.
• In charge of HOV Performance, School Events (Vietnamese programme), and work collaboration with Academic Operations to coordinate the Annual Professional Development Program for Vietnamese teachers and leaders.
• Work with other members of the Academic Operations department and assist in developing and implementing the Quality Schools Framework and school policies relevant to Vietnamese education, as well as the Collaboration programme in all KinderWorld schools.
• Work with the Deputy Director of Operations to address all statutory requirements of the MOET and local DOET to deliver the Vietnamese education, Collaboration and International programme in all KinderWorld schools.
• Provide advice and directions to the school regarding school leadership and development.
• Set up a new school, mentor and coach new HOVs in the new campus in the South.
• Work with the schools to collate and compile academic data at a school and system level to allow the monitoring of student performance over time.
Others
• Coordinate the APMOPS Mathlympics and support other Academic competitions such as SLE.
• Support the Management in the development and implementation of company initiatives.
• You are expected to travel required.
• Coordinate and lead the delivery of Cambridge training courses.
• Assist other departments, as and when required, to ensure the effective staging of school events such as Open House, carnivals, concerts, career days, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by the Academic Manager, Deputy Director of Operations and Supervisory Principal from time to time.
• Provide support in accessing and providing appropriate services and support for student development and success.

- Requires good writing and speaking in good English
- University graduate in Pedagogy or related fields
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position or in the education field
