• Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

About the Role:

The Head of Finance & Admin position is primarily designed to undertake monthly financial accounting activities for Vietnam and ensuring the country achieves its objectives and meets the month end deadlines.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual financial statements and performance reporting according to established timelines per the relevant legislation, standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with auditors for annual Financial Statements and local tax authorities.
• Timely prepare and submit tax returns (quarterly & annually) for VAT, PIT, CIT and WHT
• Prepare employee payroll and ensure that the employees are paid on time
• Provide accurate data and insightful analysis to enable management to make informed decisions.
• Analyse financial results and provide commentary on variance analysis against the Budget, prior Forecast and prior Year.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts including Bank, Fixed Assets, etc.
• Undertake monthly financial and project accounting activities for approx. 10+ projects including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability reporting to management.
• Manage general ledger accounting including revenue and cost accruals, prepayments and overhead cost allocation journals.
• Oversee Credit Control to ensure the invoices are issued timely, and monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments & other irregularities.
• Ensure the supplier invoices are recorded in a timely manner and paid on time as per the agreed terms.
• Report Operational Cash Flow to the Corporate Head Office daily.
• Maintain employee headcount records with Social Insurance Authority and make mandatory insurance payments on time.
• Liaise with internal and external parties on operational matters when necessary

Who We're Looking For:

• Vietnam permanent work rights
• At least 10 years experience in a similar role with project accounting exposure including minimum 2-3 years experience of working/training in audit sector is preferred
• Bachelor’s in accounting and CA/CPA qualified or part qualified with ‘Chief Accountant Certificate’
• In depth knowledge and understanding of fundamental accounting concepts per VAS and some knowledge of IFRS
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Excel and other MS Office skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision
