- Workdays: Monday - Friday
- Travel: Regular Domestic Travel to deliver coaching and training at dealers in Vietnam
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for you to work for a leading global provider of outsourced business solutions for the automotive industry based in Hanoi. We are looking for a Product Trainer to work with a team in a variety of areas within a retail client environment.
The Product Trainer will be expected to succeed at the following tasks:
- To deliver Product training and development training materials as assigned by the country project manager
- To provide feedback and work collaboratively with solutions team to drive continuous improvement in solutions provided
- To take responsibility for the achievement of outcomes as they relate to assignments and agreed activities
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Facilitation
- Deliver Product training facilitation activities in accordance with the MSX Standards demonstrating that you
- Are prepared for the training session; with all materials, resources
- Know the materials well enough not to overly rely on trainer guide, PowerPoint and brochures.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills (i.e. uses appropriate tone, pitch, volume, body language and eye contact)
- Uses different delivery mediums (PowerPoint, Brochure, activities, role plays, open discussion, videos, FAQs, case studies)
- Illustrate ideas with examples, storytelling and role modelling behaviour
- Confirm learner understanding through clearly phased open questions
- Encourage learners to participate in discussions and activities; provide learner feedback
- Administer and collect learner evaluation’s and reflect on own delivery style and effectiveness
- Ensure that all training and facilitation activities are performed incorporating all client specific standards, processes and business initiatives
- Provide Trainer based evaluations regarding program outcomes with a view to assisting in the development of strategies for continuous improvement
- Support by managing the product training facilities, tools, equipment and its assets
Solutions Support
- Evaluate facilitation of all training interventions looking for opportunities to drive continuous improvement
- Assist in trialling and developing new methods, technologies, solutions and frameworks
- Provide client specific inputs, functional, technical and operational information to assist in the development of training activities where required
- Provide feedback from “in the field” experiences when dealing with the client network
- Work collaboratively with the Instructional Designers to assist with the design and delivery of client training programs and activities
- Assist in the preparation and review of training materials and tools
- Assist in the localization of materials
Work Relationships
- Provide support to the Country Project Manager, in any required tasks
- Work in a supportive and collaborative manner with own internal team
- Maintain relationships at the highest level with internal and external clients, consultants and supplier personnel
- Develop and maintain key client relationships within the region
Self-Development
- Actively participate in TTT events, pilot sessions, personal development activities and workshops
- Actively participate in activities aimed at maintaining the currency of all qualifications and skill levels and up skilling as required
- Keep a regular track of developments in related fields with a focus on continuous improvement
- Take the lead and work with the MSXI, Solutions and Delivery teams to be upskilled on the latest software applications and tools to execute assignments.
- Keep up to date on the performance of the industry in general and our clients’ performance in the industry
Administration
- Provide all evaluations, reports, feedback and any other required documentation timeously to the training co-ordinator and project manager
- Work collaboratively with the Training Coordinator to develop schedules and calendars to ensure that their training delivery times are maximised and customer related costs are minimised
- Where required participate in regular client WIP (work in progress) reviews with the relevant team members to offer feedback on specific issues and progress
- Participate in regular Cross Functional WIP (work in progress) reviews with other team members to offer feedback on client specific issues and progres.
Who We're Looking For:
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with the following qualification backgrounds:
Experience:
- At least 5 years in Automotive Industry and
- At least 3 years as a Sales/ Product Trainer
- Experience in coaching and training delivery
Qualifications:
- Vietnam permanent work rights only
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanic Engineering/ Engineering
- Willing to travel regularly to deliver coaching and training at dealers in Vietnam
- University Degree (equivalent relevant work experience may be considered)
- Be able to build rapport quickly
- Have experience in developing, training, and implementing systems and procedures
- Multi-media capable presenter, able to deliver face to face and remote working
- Have experience in working with discipline and clearly defined standards
- Preferably with training in Creative Problem Solving or in Six Sigma
- Team player with initiative and positive attitude toward learning
- Excellent skill in MS office program especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Total comfort in the use of the Internet and Internet-based systems
- Good command in spoken and written in English
- Available to join less than 30 days
