Cathay United Bank

• Provide general legal and transactional advisory support to various business lines, including corporate banking, global market, etc.
• Review and draft documents relating to various banking and financing transactions, including account opening, loan facility and security documentation, cash management documentation, e-banking, confirmations, service agreements and other transaction-related documentation as assigned by Legal Head.
• Participate in formulating and drafting standard legal documentation and related guidelines, policies and procedure notes.
• Manage actual and potential litigation and disputes under supervision of Legal Head
• Monitor the development of relevant laws and regulations, and in coordination with Compliance, do legal and regulatory update in respect of banking products and services of the bank.
• Work closely with business teams and other functions, provide them with legal assistance in their day-to-day work.
• Provide legal advice and support as required in relation to other general legal matters and other legal projects.
