Well, I think I’m a big fan of sports. Although I’m not good at it, but my favorite one is swimming. You know I can often meet new people and make friends when I do sports. And as I think that, you know, practicing a sport regularly does wonder for my health. It keeps me in shape, it helps to relieve my back and neck pains. And last but not least, it refreshes my mind after a long day of hard work.
Well, I guess in Vietnam right now, it’s football. I think football is considered the king of sports. It’s very easy to play. All you need is just a ball, a few friends and two goals, which you can always make or create by marking the ground with, you know, a piece of clothing or bags, for example. And I think it’s a competitive sport, it can be very enjoyable to watch and play.
Of course. I think it’s essential for everybody to take up a sport, because, you know, as I mentioned before. Playing sports brings great benefits to your health. It helps to lower the risk of modern diseases such as diabetes, obesity and heart attack. Anyway, at the end of the day, your body is the only place you’ve got to live, right? So I think you’d better take good care of it.
Well, there are many sports that I would like to have a crack at, but if I have to choose one, that would be climbing. You know, I have always dreamt of climbing Mount Fuji, which is the highest peak in Japan. I can’t imagine myself reaching the summit and getting to admire the breathtaking view of the scenery below. That would be absolutely amazing and I’ll be on top of the world.
Yes I’m definitely a sports enthusiast so I watch a lot of them. As a matter of fact, my sole purpose of paying for cable is to watch sports channels.
Yes, I think all sports fans would prefer watching live matches or games, if I can’t watch the games when they are live broadcasted i usually keep an update of the scores online. But I’ve never been to a stadium or an arena to spectate a match, which I think would be pulsating so I’d love to try.
My brother mostly. He’s also a soccer aficionado so watching live matches is kinda like our time to hang together and to build a good rapport.
I think my main interests would still lie in soccer and basketball. I also watched a lot of tennis and badminton in the past but my work has gotten much busier so it’s impossible to allocate time to watch all types of sports content.
Sample 1: I’m a sports fanatic so I find a wide variety of sports appealing, especially team sports such as soccer or basketball. I’m also drawn to a few dual sports like badminton or tennis. In terms of playing, I usually participate in soccer games and swimming.
Sample 2: I’m not at all a keen sportsman but I do play sports to keep fit and stay lean. Usually, I work out twice a week and go swimming probably once or twice a week as well. I think playing sports is a good way to ease work-related stress and boost my immune system, so I’ve been maintaining this lifestyle for years.
Sample 1: Well in my country, soccer is the most ubiquitous sport and almost every boy has gone for a kickabout once or twice in their life without having to take any training course. It’s the same thing for my case. I just casually joined some matches with my peers since I was a kid and learned the skills heuristically.
Sample 2: Honestly, I started learning the basic techniques with my coach a few years ago and from that onwards, YouTube has been my main source of information to hone my sports skills further.
Sample 1: Yes I have mentioned above that I started playing soccer when I was little, in primary school to be exact. We often had our pop-up games after school, with a makeshift plastic ball or sometimes we even used a can to replace a ball, and we used our backpacks as the goalposts.
Sample 2: As far as I can remember, I used to practice traditional martial arts and play badminton when I was a kid, which lasted for a few years until I was super busy with my studies in highschool and had to end my sports practice.
Sample 1: Well I don’t have the precise figures but I think the number of children being overweight and leading a sedentary lifestyle has increased. Therefore, I do think that students should work out more often
Sample 2: Yeah, definitely, especially those in Vietnam, who are commonly required to study so intensively that they unsurprisingly have to sacrifice their time for physical activities. I think most Vietnamese parents are still unaware of the important benefits that playing sports bring about for their children’s holistic development.
I don’t think I have any acquaintances who are really good at sports / keen sportspeople. If sports stars count then I think I could name a few.
Obviously, doing sports not only can boost people’s physical health but also lifts up their mood, which is extremely vital for their well-being in the long run.
There is no doubt. I think nowadays most schools realize the importance of physical exercise, I mean, the role it plays in the development of an individual. Doing exercise helps them maintain their health which will be a foundation for their work and study in the future. Moreover, students who exercise regularly could also get in good shape when they grow up, which is beneficial in many ways as good-looking appearance is a plus point in modern society.
