1.  What job would you like to have ten years from now?

One thing for sure is that I would still be working and studying in the education field. I mean, having been studying English and pedagogy for several years, what else should I do? Teaching is a demanding and decent profession, but just as rewarding at the same time and I’m still happy with it. Ten years from now, hopefully I’ll be teaching as a lecturer at a prestigious university. Who knows, right?

2. How useful will English be for your future?

People may laugh at me if I said I’d die without it, but this is absolutely true. As a teacher of English, the language itself plays a crucial role in my career path, indeed, my entire income depends on it. Besides, English also opens doors of opportunity for me as it enables me to access global knowledge, so I’d say my future wouldn’t be the same if English were cut out of my life.

3. How do you think your life will change in the future

It is difficult to say, but I’d rather imagine myself as busy as a bee, advancing my career. By then maybe I will have had a family of my own to take care of, so my older self must be extremely agile when she has to juggle between family and career. But eventually things will sort their ways out, won’t they?

Mẫu 1

Several years ago, I came across a documentary called Abstract: The art of design and was so hooked by it that I ended up watching its entire 2 seasons within a night. The episode about how Instagram designers created new functions every now and then really had me at that time, therefore I decided to persuade mom and dad to support me following this passion. I did manage to convince them, as I am now a university student of Digital Product and will be working in the industry in a few years’ time. 

This is such a demanding profession, as I know product designers will wear many hats – from user research and wireframing, all the way through to UX writing or even basic software development. I’d love to think this is a profession that straddles the line between an entrepreneur  and an artist, embracing aspects of both realms.

Wonderful, isn’t it? As the designer for softwares, functions, and apps, I will be working and answering to the product manager, fleshing out the wireframe into a fully fledged product. This type of work typically involves a mix of skills, ranging from programming to design thinking, which I hope to accumulate during my university years. 

As promising as it may sound, this job can be challenging at times. I mean, in order to be successful in this field, surely each individual should be a genuine polymath because a digital product designer should be adept at a number of disciplines. Balancing between art and design, strategy and aesthetics, finding a sweet solution to these challenges while still having to maintain product’s values – just imagine having to excel at these things really stresses me out.

But  you know, challenges are for growth and I believe that my agility and industrious nature will be enough to fuel me to climb up this career ladder.

Mẫu 2: A TRAVEL WRITER

Today I am going to talk about my dream job for the future. It is to become a travel writer.

People who work as travel writers are often self-employed. They travel the world to interesting places and then write articles about their experiences. In terms of qualifications, I think that’s less important than having a portfolio of examples of your work that shows you are a really good writer.

To do this job you have to be willing to go to lots of new places. You also need to be able to write fluently and in different styles for different publications. Travel writers must be very flexible, as you might need to go to difficult or uncomfortable places and travel at short notice.  

The most difficult part of the job is that it’s not very well paid, so often travel writers need to have another job as well, because, unfortunately, you can’t really make a living out of this type of work. Also, even if you are successful, it would be quite an unsettling way to live, it would be hard to maintain friends and pursue hobbies if you are moving around all the time.

The reason I would like to do this job so much is that I love going to new places. I also like communicating ideas in writing, it would be wonderful to make a living out of the two things I enjoy most – travel and writing!

Mẫu 3: BANKER

Everyone dream to have a good job. I am not an exception in this case. I also have a dream job and it is to be a well-reputed banker. 

Usually, a banker needs to have some special degree in Finance or Management. An MBA is a suitable one. Further, there are some other professional courses are also available like Bank Management etc. to reach the job. I have completed my MBA and pursuing another degree to make my dream come true. But it is really difficult for a woman to achieve her dream job and this is for extensive competition in the sector. A large number of women like me are after the job and hence the scopes are limited. However, I am trying my best to reach the goal and someday I definitely will be with my dream.  

Banking is my dream job for several reasons. First of all, this is a secured job. I know there are lots of troubles with this profession, but there are fewer chances of losing the job. Besides, the remuneration that I will get is smart enough to lead a decent life. Moreover, I like to have some challenges in my career and profession. Banking is one of the professions that comes with a specific set of challenges. As a woman, I am able to undertake them and could exercise my mental faculty to the largest extent. Based on the grounds, being a banker has become my dream job.

Mẫu 3: DOCTOR

The job I want to have is to become a Medical Doctor. Interestingly enough though, when I was young, the medical profession never really appealed to me, probably because it involved too much study time. Of course, my parents urged me to become a doctor when I was a junior college student, but I chose to ignore their suggestion because I rather wanted to be a business administration and management personnel.

So, I eventually finished my MBA before joining a very prestigious multi-national firm in my country. But, anyway, while, so far, I have enjoyed my career as a top manager at a corporation, I feel like I could probably offer a lot more like a doctor to my community. But, of course, it never is an easy proposition because I would have to go back to school again in order to finish at least 5 or 6 years of medical school. Then, I would also need to work as a intern for at least a year before qualifying for a medical practice license.

After all, healing sick people and give them a new and healthy life never is an easy job by any stretch imagination. But, above everything else, I think that the most difficult thing about this job would be to remain patient at all times since it is a matter of life and death for a person.

Anyway, I consider this to be my dream job, mainly because perhaps no other jobs in this world draws as much appreciation and gratitude from another fellow human being as the job of a medical doctor. It is my dream job also because it would always allow me to learn new things about human life, the most fascinating subject of all.
