Dạng biểu đồ: bản đồ sự thay đổi theo thời gian giữa 2 bản đồ của một trường học.

Thì sử dụng: Khoảng thời gian được đưa ra cho hai hình là vào năm 1985 và hiện tại. Vì vậy, người viết có thể sử dụng thì quá khứ đơn, hiện tại đơn và thì hiện tại hoàn thành.

The two maps illustrate the degree to which a school campus has changed since 1985.

Overall, the school has experienced significant alterations to accommodate the growing number of students, the most prominent of which are additional classrooms and the construction of various sports and educational amenities. Further changes have also been made to the school's access and parking facilities.

In 1985, the school had an enrollment of 1500 students. In the west of the campus, there was a cluster of facilities, including classrooms, a small parking lot, a library, and an office, while on the east side stood a block of classrooms with two storeys. The students accessed the campus through the entrance and exit points positioned on both sides of a large car park in the north, with a road branching off in the middle of the map, leading to spacious playing fields in the south.

At present, the student population has risen significantly to 2300. Whilst the office remains intact, the library has been reduced in size and become a new learning resources center housing a computer room, making way for the relocation of the now expanded classroom building. Just south of this is a newly built gymnasium with an indoor swimming pool, overtaking approximately half of the playing fields. Meanwhile, a third floor has been added to the classroom block, accompanied by more classrooms being built to its south. In the north, the small car park has been completely removed, and the rectangular one has been reshaped into a semicircle. Finally, a group of trees has been planted, replacing the road in the center of the campus.

In general, the area underwent a massive change from 2000 to 2009. It is evident that the town became more industrialized and modern with the wideness of the Industrial complex and the appearance of some welfare building.

To begin with, I will report a striking change of the Industrial complex, which was situated on the South-East side of the river. With the demand for profit, woodland and the southeast residential area were dwindled and disappeared to make an empty place for the Industrial complex to expand its size.

On the other side of the river, it is obvious that the west residential area and the Arts Centre were both transferred into a shopping centre and Multi-screen cinema in order to meet resident's entertainment needs. The same was true for the derelict warehouses and the Old Town, they were both replaced by a car park, offices and a university. With the shortness of the woodland, the lake also was shrunk, made the water flows of it became less than before. In contrast, the North-West residential area and the school still remained through the period.

The maps demonstrate how Farmshire village changed and the proposed development for the future in 2024.

Overall, a Farmshire witnessed dramatic changes. In addition, the area of the village has undergone significant improvements, with more buildings to be constructed.

There are several changes at the top half of the Farmshire village. On the left side, the farm has three, but it has two farms, and one of these farms in the south west has been rebuilt to a poultry farm in the future. Beside the poultry farm have grown some trees. While, on the right side, the woods cleared to make way for a community soccer field has been constructed.

The removal and modernization of some facilities have also been witnessed on the bottom half of the village. On the right side, the cooperative bank and player centre remain. However, the trees nearby the player centre have their size reduced to accommodate more construction. A suppermarket has been added and erected on the left side of the cooperative. On the left side, the villafe store was demolished and replaced by an employment assistance.

The map describes changes to West Park Secondary School over a period from 1950 to 2010. Overall, West Park Secondary School contained fewer buildings in 1950 and was located nearer residential and agricultural land. By 2010, several facilities had been added for students and there was the notable addition of a large car park.

In 1950, 3 rows of houses were located to the left of the school, just above a large section of farmland and a playground attached to the school. By 1980, there were significant alterations related to housing. The former houses were replaced by a car park and science block and the farmland was removed in favor of a sports field. The playground remained unchanged.

By 2010, the playground had been reduced in size in order to make room for a small sports field. The most significant change by this time was the expansion of the car park overtaking the area previously occupied entirely by the sports field. Other structures were unaltered from 1980.

The diagrams illustrate the development of West Park Secondary School from 1950 to 2010.

Looking at the west side of the map, we can see that houses were demolished to make way for the science block and car park in 1980. Additionally, farmland was converted into a sports field in 1980, which later transitioned into an expanded car park by 2010. The car park expanded on the west side of the school, while the sports field was relocated between the car park and the playground in 2010.

In contrast, the east side of the school has remained the same, with the exception of a reduction in the size of the playground area to accommodate the sports field in 2010. Furthermore, the main road has not changed since the school's construction.

In summary, houses and farmland have disappeared from the map, replaced by a car park, a science block, and a sports field. The playground has also been reduced in size, although its location remains unchanged.

The chart below illustrates the development of West Park Secondary School over a sixty-year period following its construction in 1950.

Overall, the main structure of the school remained unchanged during the first thirty years, and its size and location stayed constant. However, the surrounding areas underwent significant transformations, particularly between 1950 and 1980.

The most notable modification in the initial phase was the construction of a car park and a science block, which replaced the houses located on the west side of the main building. Additionally, the farmland to the southwest was converted into a sports field. During this period, the playground and the school itself remained unchanged.

In the second phase of development, spanning from 1980 to 2010, the car park and sports field were combined into a larger car park. Furthermore, the playground was reconfigured into a smaller playground alongside a compact sports field. The science block, school building, and the main road saw very little change during this latter phase of development.
