Answer 1: Yes, kind of. As a student, I take notes in class, and after that, I have lots of written assignments to complete. Then, while taking the test, I use my gel pen for hours to complete the answer sheet. I suppose that’s why I frequently visit the stationery store.
Answer 2: Yeah, I like to write. I have a tendency to jot down everything that is significant because my memory is like a sieve. The best method is to write it down on my notepad.
Answer 3: Yes of course. This is an integral part of my job as a teacher. However, these days I mostly type on my computer or write messages on my cell phone, and rarely use paper or pens. You should only take notes where laptops are not allowed. I think it really hurts.
Answer 1: I was never a good writer, but because my major involved a lot of research, I became interested in writing research papers. I enjoy reading past research, formulating research questions, conducting experiments, and putting it all together in my essay. While it can be difficult, especially with my propensity for procrastination, I am very content to spend days and weeks on an article and get everything in place.
Answer 2: Well, normally I’d love to write something academic because it’s part of my job for a living. I am an IELTS teacher and I coach my students to write academic essays. These are often difficult and strenuous articles because you need a lot of knowledge, skills, and strategies to write academically. I mean you need to know a lot of collocations, how to explain ideas logically and avoid using slang and overly formal phrases.
Answer 1: Not really. I hope to one day be a researcher in my field, so I guess what I write won’t change anytime soon. However, I hope that the quality of my work will improve, because my career will depend on it.
Answer 2: Yes, I think so. Mainly because I’m an artist and also an avid reader. I’m a huge fan of romance novels and I thought I’d try writing novels. This seems appealing to me as I like to let my creativity run wild when it comes to writing and developing interesting storylines.
Answer 1: When I was younger, I preferred handwriting to typing because I wanted each essay to have a personal touch. This perspective changed quite quickly when I started college. Each assignment should be submitted in electronic form and it will be more convenient to enter it on a computer. In addition, using a computer makes it easier for me to cite articles and references.
Answer 2: Well, you know, nowadays modern technologies have largely eliminated handwriting and you don’t see people handwriting as much as in the past. However, I still think that some things need to be handwritten. For example, you should handwrite wedding invitations to show respect to your guests.
Answer 1: Oh, I really like that. Writing something calms and relaxes me, so I try to write whenever I have free time. The moment the pencil touched the paper, the words literally flew out and I flew to my dreamland. It was a great experience .
Answer 2: Absolutely, I loved writing with a pen in my childhood. My parents often scolded me for writing in my diary and other important office documents when I took the pen. And of course I used to cry a lot to get a pen from there so I could draw or write on paper or on the wall with it.
Answer 1: Sure, I believe that. While the number of people writing with pens is decreasing, the use of electronic devices such as computers and smartphones is increasing. As a result, all note prints obtained from these devices look the same and will therefore replace handwriting in the near future.
Answer 2: In fact, people are so used to computers and mobile phones that they can replace handwriting. I remember when I went to Delhi last month, there was a place where no one used a pen and used a computer or a mobile phone to write.
