As the Senior HR Manager, you will be instrumental in establishing and managing the HR function for our new GCC in Vietnam. You will partner with our U.S.-based leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our global business objectives. Your expertise in Vietnamese labor law, talent acquisition, and employee relations will be critical to our success.
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the GCC’s goals and the overall business objectives of the U.S. leadership team.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the U.S. leadership team, providing expert advice and insights on HR-related matters.
- Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures that comply with Vietnamese labor laws and best practices.
2. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top technical talent in a competitive market.
- Build strong relationships with universities, tech communities, and professional networks in Vietnam.
- Manage international recruitment and relocation processes.
3. Employee Relations and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all Vietnamese labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
4. Compensation and Benefits:
- Conduct market analysis to develop competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Manage payroll and ensure accurate and timely payments.
5. Training and Development:
- Identify skills gaps and partner with Asia HR Team to implement training programs to address them.
- Implement performance management systems and provide feedback to employees.
6. Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters in Vietnam.
- Effectively communicate with employees and U.S. leadership, bridging cultural and language differences.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the U.S. leadership team.
- Implement and manage HRIS systems.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of HR experience, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance.
- Experience working with HRIS systems.
- Experience working with a U.S. based company preferred.
- Experience building an HR function from the ground up is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
- Experience with international HR Practices is a plus.
3. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Extensive knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws and regulations.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
· Fluency in English language skills (both written and verbal).
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrates a proactive commitment to driving continuous improvement, consistently identifying opportunities for growth, enhancement, and the optimization of HR processes and practices.
· Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills with the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, providing clear direction, setting expectations, and supporting team members' growth and development.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
