Responsibilities

-        Work in an agile team to design, prototype, develop, and document new product offerings and enhance existing products and tools

-        Monitoring and maintaining existing database scripts and database server performance.

-        Troubleshoot application issues and data-related problems.

-        Involving in brainstorming sharing knowledge and ideas for system design upgrades.

-        Understand high-level business requirements and produce technical specifications, designs, documents, interface control documents, and architecture documents

-        Develop and maintain high quality codes and perform code reviews of other team members.

-        Facilitate and guide initiatives for improving development processes.

-        Help develop robust automated unit/functional test suites and development scripts.

-     Work with internal QA teams on system, performance, and acceptance testing.

Qualifications

-        Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years + of  hand on experience in database development in MS SQL Server.

-        Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, pipeline functions, views, table partitioning, database script performance tunings

-        Strong data analysis, and problem-solving skills with good knowledge in MS Excel or third party tools.

-        Quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.

-        Ability to use verbal and written communication skills to present information to a diverse population (technical and non-technical)

-        Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong software engineering, development, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
