Role Description

• Work in an agile team to design, prototype, develop, and document new product offerings and enhance existing products and tools
• Monitoring and maintaining existing database scripts and database server performance.
• Troubleshoot application issues and data-related problems.
• Provide database administration support to the Systems Administrators including database upgrades, backups and user account creations where necessary.
• Evaluate new frameworks and contribute to technology selection.
• Involving in brainstorming sharing knowledge and ideas for system design upgrades.
• Understand high-level business requirements and produce technical specifications, designs, documents, interface control documents, and architecture documents
• Develop and maintain high quality codes and perform code reviews of other team members.
• Facilitate and guide initiatives for improving development processes.
• Help develop robust automated unit/functional test suites and development scripts.
• Work with internal QA teams on system, performance, and acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Database Development, Database Administration, and Database Design skills
• Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, pipeline functions, views, table partitioning, database script performance tunings
• Strong data analysis, and problem-solving skills with good knowledge in MS Excel or third party tools.
• Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of industry best practices and trends
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
