JOB SUMMARY
Functions as the Strategic Business Leader of the hotel’s Sales and Marketing department and is responsible for property reactive sales [outside of Event Booking Centers (EBC)], proactive account sales and segment sales, local and social catering sales, business travel sales, reservation sales, and destination sales, if applicable. The position shares responsibility for achieving revenue goals, guest and associate satisfaction, and the financial performance of the department. The Director of Sales and Marketing implements the brand’s service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the Sales process. Leads on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of hotel sales objectives. Evaluate the hotel’s participation in the various sales channels, Market Sales, Event Booking Centers, electronic lead channels, etc., and develop strong working relationships to maximize the hotel’s benefits. Proactively positions and markets the property; manages marketing budget to enable the development of hotel-specific campaigns, promotions, collateral, etc. to drive revenue and meet property objectives. Interfaces with Regional Marketing Communications on regional and national promotions pull-through. As a member of the executive committee develops and implements hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer profile and property associates and provides a return on investment to the owner and Marriott International.

Sâm Lai Châu (Panax vietnamensis var, fuscidiscus K.Komatsu, S.Zhu & S.Q.Cai) là loại dược liệu quý được phát hiện năm 2013 tại Lai Châu. Cây chỉ sinh trưởng dưới tán rừng già, nơi có khi hậu khắc nghiệt tại độ cao từ 1500m. Loài cây này có nguồn gen đặc biệt đối với Việt Nam và Thế giới và có nhiều thành phần dược liệu quý hiếm, tất cả các bộ phận của cây đều có thể dùng làm thuốc.
Hàm lượng saponin toàn phần trong các mẫu Sâm Lai Châu lên tới 21.34%. Đặc biệt, củ Sâm Lai Châu có thành phần saponin phong phú với 52 loại hoạt chất quý hiếm trong đó có đến 26 saponin thường gặp tại các loài sâm khác trên thế giới. Ngoài ra hoạt chất Majonoside R2 – MR2 có trong sâm Việt Nam cũng được phát hiện trong thành phần của Sâm Lai Châu. Đây là hoạt chất không phải loại sâm nào cũng có, đem lại giá trị dược liệu và tính ứng dụng cao cho các sản phẩm được chiết xuất từ sâm Lai Châu.
Hiện với sự đầu tư và chăm sóc từ Công Ty Cổ Phần Tập Đoàn Pusilung những cây sâm Lai Châu đang ngày ngày được bảo tồn và phát triển, để Sâm Lai Châu không chỉ là báu vật ẩn mình mà còn vươn tầm ra quốc tế.
