Mô Tả Công Việc

What you need to know:
As a Leader, you are respected for your deep technical expertise and/or ability to oversee programs and processes. You balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment, along with a risk mindset. Ultimately, you take ownership for key outcomes. This role will report to the General Director.
 Key functions:
To manage all aspects of the Financial Insurance Products including, but not limited to:
• Directors & Officers Liability Insurance (Management Liability Insurance)
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Cyber Insurance
• Crime Insurance
• Kidnap & Ransom Insurance
Manage department including:
• Develop and deliver Strategic Plan – identifying growth opportunities, new business segments, new product opportunities to support growth objectives.
• Develop and execute a marketing plan for your products, which should include creation and dissemination of marketing materials, as well as marketing events including formal seminars and producer training sessions, and informal presentations to producers.
• Increase of AIG market share through new business development, new distributions.
• Expand relationships with key producers, clients and industry groups.
• Train and develop your underwriting team to provide strong business outcomes and appropriate career paths for high achievers.
• Ad-hoc special projects or requirements that may arise from time to time.
 Key accountabilities:
1. Financial Objectives:
• Grow profitability aligning with strategies, financial budget objectives, and manage portfolio to protect balance sheet. Plan strategies for department within matrix environment.
• Manage expense within targeted outcomes.
• Develop and implement business plans aligning with corporate standards and guidelines.
2. Customer relationship engagement:
Expand customer relationships, articulate strategy, and value to clients, brokers, partners, and distributions. Respect the voice of clients, brokers and partners, and change for customer’s needs.
3. Business processes:
• Develop and maintain an adequate pipeline of new business opportunities through targeting segment and market.
• Ensure operation working smoothly and reduce bottleneck to maximize efficiency, mitigate compliance and regulatory risk.
• Manage and ensure adherence to corporate guidelines, disciplines and standards: maintenance of underwriting discipline and adherence to authority; referral of all accounts which fall outside of your authority to relevant Regionals and referral points.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge and utilize resources effectively.
• Carry out budget process following company guidelines.
• Prompt and timely advice to Segment/Commercial/Country Managers on New Business and Renewal negotiations on accounts
• Managing an excellent relationship with colleagues in other departments.
• Oversight of product and underwriting compliance.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

What we are looking for
• Preferably a University Degree or equivalent
• Experience and knowledge about Financial insurance products; experience in sales, business development, or marketing preferable, writing both insurance and reinsurance business, experience negotiating and closing commercial contracts, ideally in insurance;
• Must be confident and have a strong desire to lead and grow the business.
• Good interpersonal skills, strong leadership and negotiation, and management skills.
• Strong local market and industry knowledge.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
