The Job
The Position
We are looking for an engineer to develop the industrial firewall that provide real-time protection for industrial automation assets and endpoint devices.
What You Will Be Doing:
Development:
Design and develop robust firewall software components.
Implement and optimize firewall rules and policies to enhance security and performance.
Collaboration and Feature Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and help maintain code quality.
Maintenance and Improvement:
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing processes and systems.
Your Skills and Experience
What We Need From You:
Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Expertise in frontend development using React and related technologies (Redux, Hooks, etc.).
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
It Would be Nice If You Have:
Network and Security:
Familiarity with network protocols and their functionalities.
Understanding of firewall concepts and technologies.
Experience with network protocols and security best practices.
Understanding of security best practices and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
Technologies and Tools:
Experience using Redis.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
Performance and Testing:
Experience with performance tuning and optimization of network applications.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
