You will be leading the Accounting Team and taking responsibility for the following functions:
1. Accounting Management
- Planning and implementing accounting systems suitable for the company’s goals
- Making accounting decisions about how to record and support complex transactions
- Performing financial analysis and forecasting to identify risks and opportunities
- Ensuring smart management of cash flow
- Improving the company’s systems for management of invoices and accounts payable
- Leading your team of accountants to ensure all work is timely and accurate
- Working with other departments to ensure they understand and follow your workflow
- Checking accounting, tax &, financial records to ensure they are accurate
- Contributing to the company’s high-performance culture
2. Internal control
- Establishing a payment system with a very low error rate
- Checking that transactions have the correct supporting documents
- Setting and controlling the budget for major projects
- Preparing reports as required by management, investors, and regulators
3. External work
- Working with external service providers such as banks, audit firms, and lawyers
- Representing the company at business conferences and events
