We are looking for a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at Laird Vietnam in Bac Ninh. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between Laird and our suppliers, ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as a significant link between the company and suppliers.
• Select, evaluate, and monitor suppliers based on product output requirements.
• Lead the supplier audit process, verify their processes, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and enhance production processes using key quality tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Identify potential risks and monitor the quality of delivered products in relation to customer milestones, particularly during the launch phase, to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Employ problem-solving techniques (8D) to identify the sources and causes of problems in the delivery process, facilitating the implementation of appropriate improvements for a more effective and reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate with suppliers and resolve conflicts that may arise during the collaboration process.
  
  
  

Education & Experience

Required:

• Education Background: Graduated from university with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Degrees in Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical Engineering will also be considered.
• Required Work Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Knowledgeable of production processes.
• Knowledgeable and ability to use key quality tools: FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; experience with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 is a plus.
• Knowledgeable of machining and stamping processes is required; experience with tooling, die equipment, and fabrication processes is an advantage.
• Familiarity with 8D methodologies, 5 Whys, statistical analysis, and the seven quality control (QC) tools.
• Proficiency in English Communication: Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Other skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively as a team player, and capable of leading a team.
