Ensures that garment samples conform to corporate specifications / requirements by conducting fit & pattern evaluations, as defined by client’s needs.
- Actively engaged with provide technical advice & guidance to merchants/ QA Team to ensure that samples meet defined standards.
- Responsible for fit & construction risk management.
- Need to solve all sort of quality problems in cutting, sewing and finishing.
- Work with QA team to improve quality in the areas of sewing and construction,
- Knowledge of fabric constructions and fabric behaviors
- Capable to handle all types of office management software like, office XP, Gerber, CAD.
- fitting, pattern and grading, resolve technical issues and provides suggestions.
- Maintenance and implementation adherence of Fit related SOPs.
- Capable of all types of fashion pattern, specially in woven top.
- Ensures that all employees adhere to the systems standard operation procedures (SOPs/WIs, line layout, Quality standard, Lean manufacturing…).
- To ensure company’s rules & regulations are being followed strictly by all staffs and operators.
- Initiates disciplinary action/enquiries.
- Identifies reasons for employee non-conformance (e.g. training required, managing poor performance, refusal to obey lawful instruction, absenteeism, turnover) and takes appropriate actions.
- Monitors processes and changes.
- Identify training gaps for subordinates based on losses/business need and put a plan together with HR/Training to close them.
- Develop Personal Development Plans for subordinates and monitor progress.
- Take responsible to control and protect company’s assets.
- Monitor and reduce wastes such as product, packaging, steam, air, water, and electricity.
- Any other duties may be assigned by management from time to time.
