Report to: Head of DX & Strategic Office - Uvance Technology & Solutions (APAC) & Head of Presales (Vietnam)
The role of the Uvance Technology & Solutions (UTS) is to develop, tailor and deploy solutions which apply emerging technology to deliver rapid business outcomes to solve our customers most important challenges. This will result in the creation of high quality, offerings to fulfil customer's unmet needs, win business and enable Fujitsu to be a market leader in Asia Pacific.
As the CX Offering Consultant, you will contribute to the success of the UTS by assisting the Head of Portfolio to own, develop and grow offerings within the CX (Consumer Experience) portfolio function/Key Focus Area (KFA) at Fujitsu.
This role will manage the full lifecycle of several complex offerings or an offering group on a regional basis jointly with an engineering/delivery counterpart. Maintains a detailed understanding of the specific IT market, customer challenges, technology trends and competitive offerings.
The role holder leads and initiates the derivation of new products/ offerings and innovations from ideas, industry experience and contact with technology partners, customers and prospects. New offerings are packaged into product releases considering profitability, cost positioning and quality targets. Communicates with all areas of the company, working with marketing & communications and business development to define the global or regional go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits container, and target customer. Serves as the internal and external evangelist for the Consumer Experience portfolio, working with sales, key customers and partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Market Understanding. Understands market, competition and user needs well and matches this with the underlying product segment strategy to propose new products or product enhancements.
- New Technology Analyses. Evaluates the viability of new technology product ideas in the context of the organization's strengths and capabilities, production capability, quality, costs, and marketplace demands. Takes the lead and initiates technology changes for a range of products or a specific feature set.
- Business Planning. Plans tactically for a line or range of products within the framework of the product division strategy, including product pricing and life cycle management. Creates and controls the business plan. Prepares "Make or Buy" decisions for product components in cooperation with involved/related departments.
- Lifecycle Management. Defines a "go to market" concept, prepares life cycle management for a product line or range in the context of the underlying product segment strategy. Supports the inventory management and the relevant service functions
- Defining Product Requirements. Defines product requirements (features, time to market, costs, pricing and profit) for a line or range of comprehensive products. Plans products within the framework of the product line strategy.
- Presales support. To design and build/customisation of product demonstration, Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and POC Solutions, and to support presales activities where necessary
- Cross Functional Coordination. Coordinates various functions, including development & quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, legal, finance, marketing, sales to ensure successful product development and introduction into the marketplace.
- Documentation. Prepares product descriptions and product data for offering, logistics, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
- Sales and Marketing Support. Prepares product presentations jointly with product marketing for customers and events including key user group meetings. Gives input for advertisement documentation for product presentations on the customers’ side and events. Support and if necessary lead in Sales Enablement training. Support competitive benchmarking activities to inform business development and sales activities.

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the retail industry – different segments, retailers, core retail processes, market/shopper trends, ICT solutions and services
- Minimum 5 years in product/ offering development
- Experience working in a multi-client organization
- Achievement-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in their chosen career
- Self-directed and proactive in self-motivated learning
- Enthusiasm and a positive mindset with the confidence to inspire, interact and build relationships with people at all levels of an organization
- Ability to work in ambiguous and fluid environment
