We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform variance analysis and assist in financial planning and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes.
• Provide support for special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure data integrity.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
