About The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Inspectorio, you will be a key driver in architecting, implementing, and optimizing the cloud-based platforms and systems that power our services. You will play a strategic role in enhancing our infrastructure to meet the growing needs of our business. Your responsibilities will extend beyond day-to-day operations to include influencing the DevOps roadmap, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. You will spearhead initiatives to improve automation, performance, and operational efficiency across multi-cloud environments.

About The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Inspectorio, you will be a key driver in architecting, implementing, and optimizing the cloud-based platforms and systems that power our services. You will play a strategic role in enhancing our infrastructure to meet the growing needs of our business. Your responsibilities will extend beyond day-to-day operations to include influencing the DevOps roadmap, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. You will spearhead initiatives to improve automation, performance, and operational efficiency across multi-cloud environments.
What You'll Do
- Architect, implement, and manage highly available and scalable GCP-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Optimize networking, storage, compute, and databases to support high-performance workloads.
- Drive adoption of Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), and CI/CD pipelines to automate cloud provisioning and resource management.
- Continuously improve deployment automation, infrastructure scalability, and self-healing mechanisms.
- Standardize configuration management to reduce operational overhead and enhance efficiency.
- Partner with engineering, security, and compliance teams to align cloud architecture with business goals and security best practices.
- Support application modernization efforts by enabling microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.
- Enforce SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for cloud services to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Prometheus and Grafana. Develop disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis, taking responsibility for learning outcomes and applying them to future improvements.
- Lead strategic cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and product roadmaps.
- Manage cross-functional projects involving migration, multi-cloud strategy, and hybrid cloud integrations.
- Proactively identify and resolve systemic issues, championing improvements in system reliability, performance, and monitoring.
- Drive execution of cloud infrastructure projects in an agile, DevOps-driven environment.
- Mentor and guide DevOps Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles, with at least 2+ years in a Senior role capacity.
- Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Strong background in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience in monitoring, alerting, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Ability to mentor engineers while fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a metrics-driven approach to infrastructure and operational improvements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and SaaS environments is a plus.
