Core responsibilities include:
• Lead the end-to-end development of a payment application for iOS devices, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product managers/owners and designers to gather requirements and translate them into functional, intuitive, and secure payment features.
• Design and implement secure payment processing mechanisms, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Integrate the payment application with third-party SDK, payment gateways, APIs, and backend systems.
• Ensure the application meets compliance and security standards, such as PCI-DSS, and implement necessary encryption and data protection measures.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following established development processes and guidelines.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Optimize application performance and user experience by implementing performance tuning techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations related to mobile payment systems and maintain awareness of competitors' offerings.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to establish secure and efficient communication between the mobile application and server-side systems.
• Assist in the estimation and planning of development tasks, provide regular progress updates, and actively participate in team meetings.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience developing iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Experience in building payment applications or integrating mobile applications with payment gateways.
• Proficiency in using Xcode and other development tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results.
• Professional communication and collaboration skills and experience working with international, cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and stay updated with industry trends.
• Solid experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security.
• Experience working in the payments and/or financial services industries is an advantage.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience with mobile payment SDKs, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal SDK.
• Familiarity with mobile security frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with AppStore review process and publishing iOS applications.
