Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead with expertise in Java and web development, coupled with strong leadership skills and proficiency in Japanese at N2/N1 level. As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of developers, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects in alignment with our company's goals and standards. Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based web applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Drive the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance development processes and productivity
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to established guidelines
• Identify technical challenges and proactively propose solutions to address them, mitigating risks and ensuring timely delivery of projects
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology, continuously enhancing your own skills and knowledge, and sharing them with the team
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging creativity and excellence in execution
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in Java and web development
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
• Expertise in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js)
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team towards achieving common goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in Japanese at N2/N1 level, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with Japanese-speaking team members and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within specified timelines and budget constraints
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Spring Certification) are a plus
